Who We AreManna Foundation is a non-governmental organization, located in Oradea, Romania that works with Children, Teenagers, Youth and their families.
ChildrenWith children our mission is to make a change in children’s personality/character and a change in their attitudes towards others.
FamiliesChildren need a family to develop well. A family that does not work perfectly is better than no family. Parents need to work hard for being able to live everyday life, but meanwhile they have to lead their kids in growing up.
Families help a society to go ahead but a problematic family is a problem for society. We want to give a helping hand for problematic families. YouthOur mission is to give an alternative possibility for using free time effectively, to create opportunities for youth to realize their own competences meanwhile participating in different projects. To mobilize youth for working on a project with positive direction and results. We want to get them to create, not just play, watch movies, not to be just a consumer but also create something. The problem is most of youth people feel they are worthless. Having success with your work after creating helps in feeling valuable yourself. We want to get people to our project besides the ones that are religious and belong to our
group or other ethnic groups. This is why when we have our next project we will go out to schools and pubs with flyers. At the beginning of this program for youth we had an inside project to make our logo. Our group of volunteers has some students from Arts department, they made a few variations and our group decided which one will be used. |
Our HistoryThe Manna Foundation was founded in 1997 in Oradea, Romania by Aniko Kiss and her family.
Almost 20 years ago, Aniko Kiss saw the need of the young generation to integrate, to develop and to create good habits so she decided, together with her family and other volunteers to create an environment suitable for the young generation. |
